Booking Terms and Conditions

• Appointments last approximately 60 minutes.
   
• Cancellations or rescheduling require at least 12 hours’ notice.
   
• Cancellations made with less than 12 hours’ notice, or missed appointments, are non-refundable.

•  Missed appointments or no-shows are non-refundable. 

• Full payment is required at the time of booking.
   
• Prices include the screening appointment, a personalised written report, and up to two overlays if needed.

• Irlen screening is a non-invasive assessment designed to identify visual stress and light sensitivity.
   
• Results and recommendations vary from person to person.

• Personalised reports are usually provided within 5 working days of the screening.
   
• Reports offer guidance and recommendations for home, school, or work but are not a medical diagnosis.

• Up to two overlays are included if recommended during the screening.
   
• Additional overlays or follow-up support may incur an extra cost, which will always be discussed in advance.

•  Recommendations are tailored to the individual and may be used to support access arrangements or environmental adjustments. 

• Screenings for anyone under 18 must be booked by a parent or legal guardian.
   
• A parent or guardian must be present during the appointment.

• For home visits, it is your responsibility to ensure a safe, suitable environment for the appointment.
   
• If access is not possible on arrival, the appointment may be treated as a late cancellation.

• All personal information is handled in line with our Privacy Policy.
   
• Reports are confidential and shared only with your consent.
